What materials do you use? Are they genuine pearls and gems?

We only use genuine semi-precious and precious gemstones, handpicked freshwater pearls and the best quality 14k gold filled and sterling silver.

All our metals are sourced in the United Kingdom from reputable jewellery suppliers.

What is 14k gold filled?

Gold Filled contains 5% of solid gold and is made through a pressure and heat bonding process.

This means that a thick layer of solid gold is bonded onto the base layer, usually sterling silver or high quality jeweller's brass, to form a thick and durable layer of solid gold.

Gold plated and Gold Vermeil have a gold content of usually less than 1%, which means that this layer will quickly chip, fade, flake or rub off, leaving the underlying base metal (often brass or silver in the case of gold vermeil) exposed.

This means our gold items contain 100 times more gold than gold plated!

Gold filled is much more valuable than any gold-plated, gold finish or gold coating product. It does not flake off, is hypoallergenic and sensitive-skin friendly.
