Shipping policy
Each Mamie Coco piece is handcrafted to order in our atelier and carefully prepared for its journey to you.
Handcrafted Preparation Time
Please allow up to 5 working days for your order to be prepared before shipping.
For solid gold items, preparation may take up to 30 working days.
If a piece is already available and ready to ship, your order may be dispatched sooner.
Once your order is ready, it will be shipped using a tracked and insured express service. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your parcel leaves our atelier.
If you are near Braga, you may also choose Click & Collect at checkout and pick up your order directly from our store.
If you need your order sooner, please email us at info@mamiecoco.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Packaging & Gift Giving
Every Mamie Coco piece is carefully prepared in our atelier and presented in our signature packaging, designed to protect your jewellery while creating a beautiful and memorable unboxing experience.
Your jewellery arrives nestled inside its jewellery box and wrapped with care using delicate tissue paper, ribbon and a Mamie Coco card — making each order ready for gifting from the moment it arrives.
If you are sending a gift and would like to make it even more special, you may choose our luxury gift wrapping option at checkout. This includes an elegant postcard with envelope and individual ribbon wrapping for each jewellery box.
We would also be delighted to include a handwritten message on your behalf — simply leave your note in the order comments at checkout.
For environmental care, our packaging is thoughtfully designed to be kept and reused, allowing you to store and protect your jewellery long after the moment of unboxing.
Our packaging is made within the European Union, and our beautiful travel jewellery pouches are handmade in a small factory in the north of Portugal, supporting local craftsmanship.
Insurance & Delivery Responsibility
All shipments are fully insured from the moment they leave our atelier until they are delivered to you.
Before placing your order, please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are correct and that someone is available to receive and sign for the package upon delivery.

Orders from the EU & the United Kingdom
All prices displayed for customers in the European Union and the United Kingdom include VAT.
Orders shipped to the United Kingdom are sent Delivered Duties Paid (DDP). This means that all applicable duties and taxes are covered by us, and you will not be charged any additional import fees upon delivery.
Orders from Outside the EU & UK
If you are shopping from outside the EU or the UK, the applicable VAT will be removed at checkout.
Please note that customs duties, import taxes, and other local charges may apply when the parcel arrives in your country. These fees are determined by your local customs authorities and must be paid by the recipient.
The shipping carrier may contact you to arrange payment before delivery.
If these charges are refused and the parcel is returned to us, all shipping, insurance, customs, and return costs incurred will be deducted from your refund.
Returns & Right of Withdrawal
Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused and in its original condition
- It must be returned in its original packaging
- Proof of purchase must be provided
Please note that engraved or personalised items cannot be returned, unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

Until the parcel is received and signed for at our atelier, the returned item remains the responsibility of the sender.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email.
If your return is approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
