2. Our Products

Mamie Coco jewellery is handcrafted in small batches or made to order in our atelier.

Due to the artisanal nature of our pieces and the use of natural materials such as pearls and gemstones, subtle variations in colour, shape or texture may occur. These variations are part of the uniqueness of handmade jewellery.

We make every effort to display our products accurately, but colours and appearance may vary depending on your screen settings.

3. Orders

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase a product.

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. This email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. Orders are accepted once they are processed and prepared for dispatch.

We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of:

  • product availability issues

  • pricing errors

  • suspected fraud or misuse of our services

If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued.

4. Pricing and Taxes

All prices on our website are shown in Euros (€) or converted onto your local currency.

For customers within the European Union and UK, prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable.

For customers outside the EU and UK, VAT is removed, but your order may be subject to customs duties or import taxes determined by your country.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Each Mamie Coco piece is carefully handcrafted before shipping.

Under EU consumer law, the risk of loss or damage to goods remains with us until the goods are delivered to you or to a person designated by you.

6. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.

Items must be returned unused and in their original condition.

Please note that custom, personalised (including solid gold rings made to your size or resized) or engraved items cannot be returned unless faulty.

7. Legal Guarantee

Under EU and Portuguese consumer law, customers benefit from a three-year legal guarantee covering manufacturing defects. This does not include misuse and user-caused damage nor normal wear and tear.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, designs, text, logos and product photography, is the property of Mamie Coco and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which processes certain data in order to operate the store securely.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mamie Coco shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or products.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights granted under EU or Portuguese law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the European Union.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights applicable in the consumer’s country of residence.
